Due to the recent heavy snowfall, Radford Public Works is running behind on their solid waste collection efforts. Every effort is being made to resume normal collection but residents are asked to be patient during this time.
If your solid waste is normally collected from an alleyway, please be sure to have it bagged. Pickup trucks are being used in these areas due to the snow accumulation and they are unable to take loose trash.
Residents are also asked to take care and not push snow against dumpsters, as it prevents solid waste trucks from accessing them.
