Biography

Laurie Buchwald is the single parent of her son Andrew. She is an OB/GYN and Family Nurse Practitioner, receiving a Bachelors Degree from Radford University, and a Masters Degree from the Medical College of Virginia. She has worked in the women's health field for over 20 years. She was elected to Radford City Council in 2002 and selected as Vice Mayor in 2006.
