Teens are invited to participate in a St. Patrick’s Day/Irish Trivia scavenger hunt. Those who wish to participate will be given a sheet of paper with 15 questions. The first person to answer all 15 questions correctly will receive a pot of chocolate gold coins

Cool Chemistry

Thursday, March 25th at 4 p.m.

Learn about the magic of chemistry at the Radford Public Library. Radford University’s Chemistry Club will put on a Magic Show using the secrets of chemistry. They will be making homemade egg dyes! For kids in 1st grade and up.

Pokemon Club

Thursday April 1st at 4 p.m.

All Pokemon fans are invited to celebrate Pokemon madness at the library. Bring your trading cards and handheld devices and get ready for fun. Pokemon Club meets the first Thursday of every month.

Citywide Cleanup of Radford Parks

Saturday April 10th Noon
The Library will take part in a city wide clean up of Radford Parks. People wishing to participate should meet at the library at noon on April 10 to help pick up trash in Wildwood. Plastic bags will be provided. Geared primarily towards teenagers, but all are welcome to join.

Danville Science Center Presents the Web of Life

Saturday April 17th, from 3:30 to 4:30
On Saturday April 17 (in honor of environmental awareness) The Danville Science Center will be coming to the Radford Public Library to do a program for children ages K-6th grade. The program is called “Web of Life.” It is hands on, and will involve audience participation. The program starts at 3:30 and will last 45 minutes.
