booksale The Lamplighter Booksale scheduled for this weekend has been postponed due to the expected Wintery weather. Look for the rescheduled sale on the first weekend in March.

Snuggle Up With Peter Rabbit

Sign-ups for our Winter Reading Program begin Monday, February 1st. Pick up your reading log in the Children’s Department of the Radford Public Library. This program is open to children from birth through 1st grade. Write down the books you read to your little one and when the reading log is full – you’ve finished! Every child that finishes will be given a Beatrix Potter book.

The last day to collect your prize is Friday, March 5th.

SwapShop Here’s how the Swap Shop works. Residents having items in working, useable condition bring them to the Radford Public Library on December 12. Residents in need of items visit the Swap Shop looking for the items. If the items are available, they take them.
“Swapping” extends both the life of the items and the life of the landfill.

Learn about the magic of chemistry at the Radford Public Library. Radford University’s Chemistry Club will put on a Magic Show using the secrets of chemistry.
