The Administrative Services Division of the Radford Department of Police is headed by Captain Shomody.  Captain Shomody is a thirty five year veteran police officer and has been at this Department for four years.  His career spans three states and four police departments. As the Captain of the Administrative Division, he directly oversees the Records Bureau, Communications Bureau and the Community Services Bureau.

Captain Shomody is responsible for hiring and recruiting of Police Officers, Communications Officers, Parking Enforcement Officers and Animal Control Officers.  He also oversees fleet maintenance, equipment purchases and day to day needs of the patrol divisions' officers.
