Support Staff

The Administrative Staff of The Radford Department of Police are supported by two very important members of the Department:

 

Cindy H. Carroll, Senior Administrative Assistant, has served in her current position for ten years.  She has previously served the Department in the position of Communications Officer for approximately six years. Cindy serves the Department by assisting the Chief of Police, assisting with budget preparation, processing accounts payable, purchasing, processing payroll, maintaining records and personnel information for the entire Department, including Communications and Animal Control.  She supervises volunteers and Community Service workers, both juvenile and adult, that are placed at the Police Department.

 

 

Bonnie R. Dean, Senior Office Assistant, has been with the Department since April 1990.  Bonnie worked as a Communications Officer for fifteen and one half years, four of those years serving as a supervisor for the Bureau.  She has an Associates Degree in Police Science, is a Certified Training Officer, VCIN Instructor, and is a Notary Public.  In August of 2005 she transferred to the position of Senior Office Assistant.  In this position she provides clerical support to the staff, while receiving and processing incoming calls. She also serves as receptionist, where she greets visitors, and assists citizens with any needs they may have.  Bonnie provides information to the public and maintains records for the Police Department.
